Beam bridge over a local road

The aim of this thesis is to design a one-span pre-stressed bridge structure over a local road. There are three possible versions of this particular construction designed as a part of this thesis, one of which was chosen for further design. The structure has been designed and calculated for the ultimate limit state as well as the service limit state. The calculations were made both by software and manually. Scia Engineer 19.1 has been used for software calculations and for the display of internal forces.

NorthEast segment of Hranice town bypass

The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate a variant of the technical solution of the Northeast bypass road of the city Hranice and its subsequent comparison with other variant prepared by the company Linio Plan, s.r.o. The main task of the bypass road is the operation of the industrial zone, through which is achieved the relocation of a large part of the transit traffic from the city centre. The basic difference of compared variants is their location to the city, the solution developed by Linio Plan, s.r.o. passes through the industrial zone and the other variant passes outside this zone.

Extension of Markéta Kuncová Street

The bachelor's thesis in the form of a technical study deals with the construction of a new road, solving the connection of the revitalized Zbrojovka complex to the existing Markéta Kuncová street. The design of the road will take into account the trolleybus line and at the same time the need to minimize the impact on the surrounding parallel buildings. It also includes a design for the modification of the existing junction of Markéta Kuncová and Skopalíkova streets.

Modifying local road parking spaces in the village Kvasiny

The aim of my thesis is to modify a local road in village Kvasiny and to connect it to current adjacent roads. The thesis also focuses on designing of parking places for visitors of the local sports centre. Proposed building adjustments will be situated on plots owned by local municipality only, without any land take of contiguous estates. Last but not least the thesis aims on passportisation of parking places within the whole village.

Road design - Školní street in Horka nad Moravou

The aim of the master´s thesis is the design of a transport solution for the surroundings and inner block of Školní street in Horka nad Moravou. Školní Street is a purpose-built road that passes through the courtyard and leads to the garages. There are no integrated sidewalks between the apartment buildings that would connect to each other and would be barrier-free, and there is no paved area intended for the placement of containers. There is also an insufficient capacity of parking spaces in the addressed area. The project will address the connection of the purpose-built road of Školní Street to the local road of Školní Street. This diploma thesis should therefore bring possible variants of solutions, with the help of which it will be possible not only to eliminate these shortcomings.

Krásnopolská and Opavská streets intersection

This final thesis focuses on the intersection of Krásnopolská and Opavská Streets in Ostrava. The present intersection provides a main traffic connection between the city districts of Krásné Pole and Poruba. Opavská Street is part of the road I/11, a major traffic route between Opava and Ostrava. This final thesis focuses on the design options for a better connection of Krásnopolská Street with Opavská Street. The existing junction is technically unsatisfactory, mainly because the view for traffic is not ideal and previous adjustments to the corners of the intersection are inappropriate. All options are proposed in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations.

Reconstruction design of Húskova Street in Brno

The aim of this diploma thesis is reconstruction design of Húskova Street in Brno, which is located in Černovice district. Static traffic, cycling and movement of pedestrians will be solved within reconstruction. The project was processed in four variant solutions. Variant A is emphasised on maximal number of parking space in draft form 45° angled parking driving ahead, variant B takes into account existing condition, the number of parking space and cycling, variant C leaves current status and adjustment consists of marking by horizontal road marking, in variant D is once again effort for maximal number of parking space, but with driving to the place by reversing. Evaluation of variants was done and variant B was chosen for detailed processing
